Dear Students, Parents and Staff,

We have had a very special month this month. We had the Graduation ceremony for the students of 2008. It went extremely well with other schools participating in the ceremony including the local blind school.

The certificates were given out by members of the MAO board. We hope that the large crowd of parents, family and friends enjoyed the morning.

The theatre was very well decked out and the food was delicious!

Ghamdan - I.T Technician

Thanks to all who were involved in organizing the theatre and the refreshments. All students receive a revision sheet before the holiday. Please ensure that your children use part of the holiday to do some revision.

IGCSE and A Level students will have an extra week of study at home before returning to school for the exams which start from Jan-09.

Over the holidays the men will continue the renovation work in the school, putting artificial grass down on the football field and siting a new table tennis area next to the basketball court for students to use during the play time.

Hundreds of Free Books for Early Years!!

KG Section is thrilled to say that the books the children ordered from Baker Books Book Club in England have arrived and will be distributed to the children as soon as possible. These books will help the children with their English and encourage them to want to read.

The Book Club also helps the school by giving free books to the school depending how many are ordered by the children. Another order will be sent in January/February and we hope that many children in the KG Section will order again. Happy Reading.

Congratulations to Teacher Dan and his wife. (Article by Dan)

Grace Yasmin Harwood was born at 15:50 hours on the 27th November in the Yemen International Hospital. She weighed 3.9 Kilos and looks good in pink.

Mum and Dad are both delighted with the new addition to the family and big brother William (aged 18 months) gave her a sloppy kiss when she came home for the first time. Thanks to all those who supported us before, during and after the birth, your help meant a lot to us. Dan + Andrea Harwood
