AOA & Hi,
When I first came to this
school, I came with a vision. Though I had realized in the beginning
that this school has a great potential, but I also realized that it is
larger than all of us here.
I was fortunate to assemble a
great team and with their extra-ordinary contribution and team work, we
took the challenge and turned it into an opportunity. During last year
we had accomplished the following:
* Computer Maintenance
Department. (With a full-fledge dedicated room -
Maintenance Technicians: Riad & Ghamdan)
* Implemented Schemes of Work
Keystage-3. (Nada)
* Implemented Schemes of Work
Keystage-4. (Saeed)
* Wireless Network of ADSL
1MB-Speed with 5 main Access Points.
(The wireless cloud currently reaches approximately 85% of the interiors
of campus buildings, and about 95% of the teachers' accommodation on
site)
* L.R.C Center with 1 megabyte
ADSL speed.
* Designed and Developed the
Website of the School.
* Online Monthly Newsletter of
the school.
* Student webpage. (Editor -
Nada Mustafa)
This year, the school has
established a new computer lab of 50 (new state-of-art) machines which have been
generously gifted to
the school by the Board of governors. But more machines also means more work
and on behalf of my dedicated team I could assure you that we will try
our level best to keep all the I.T equipment in order.
It is also worth mentioning
here that the Student-webpage is another
milestone in the history of MAO School. The credit goes to its editor
Nada, who had put tremendous efforts to make it a success. It is true as it
says on student-page "It is all about students and all by students" but students had
acquired this knowledge (web-designing) through continuous support and
encouragement provided by their ambitious teacher Nada.
With grace of Lord Almighty, I.T
has become the most dependable and reliable full-fledge department of the school.
I hope (Inshallah-God willing) that we will continue to produce great
results in future as well.
